Swasthavritta is one among the branches of Ayurveda which has its prime focus on prevention of diseases through a holistic approach. It deals with the physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being of people. Empowering and educating the individuals with information regarding healthy lifestyle, diet, hygiene, yoga, and naturopathy are the key concerns of this Department. This department imparts in-depth knowledge and training on preventive medicine, yoga, naturopathy, ayurvedic nutrition and diet.
The department has well qualified and passionate faculties who are always in frontline with students in both their academic and non-academic activities. Department is also well equipped with a library having 65 books, 44 educational charts, 30 models, 50 specimens, and 100 yoga mats.
